I love this app. FYI there is a typo on the distant suns iphone app. In the Help section, under preferences, under the stars paragraph, the last line reads: “many more stars then you can see.” this should read: “many more stars than you can see”

To answer your question, Distant Suns will work on a first gen iPod Touch. I use one with OS 3.0 during my testing to ensure it does work okay. Not nearly as speedy as the iPad but it does the job.

“Preference wench?” Is that something new at Ren Faire?

Oh, I get it. : -) you may have launched the iPad when it was face up. Tilt it to either portrait or landscape and try to relaunch it. The fix is in the works.

I Love this app but hate my iPhone! Enter the DriodX, alas I see not this app in the Android Marketplace, bummer! Here is one vote for a port to the Android OS. Truly a great work! I will miss it.

Hi! Not to sure yet about the Android market, plus I really need to get someone else who could handle it, as it is a pretty big job since Android is all in Java.
