Distant Suns now for the iPad

If all goes well, Distant Suns will be available for the iPad the day of launch, this coming Saturday. I received the official blessing from Apple yesterday. There is one last hurdle to go through, but I don’t expect any problems.

This will be the sixth platform Distant Suns has been on. Click on each picture to get a better view.

It looks like the menu bar has changed and that the preferences are in a small popup windows. Any other differences between the iPhone and iPad versions?

The UI was changed to conform to the iPad standards. I had it bounced once by the Appstore because one of the new “popover”s wasn’t quite right, so they’re really fussy about stuff like that. There was enough space for only one toolbar, so no need to rotate. And the only other change is that the landscape art has been removed, as it looked terrible on the larger screen.
